Fashionistas, one of my favorite designers of all time is the great Alexander Wang. He is a high end designer known for his sleek modern cuts, rigid angles, and mono tone color scheme.

Wang has been creating designs since the early 2000’s, originally holding the prestigious position of Creative Director at the famous fashion house, Balenciaga’s.
While I do love everything he comes out with every season, I absolutely cannot afford any of his masterpieces. Many of his pieces cost around an arm and a leg… they are that pricey!
Even though I can’t afford any of his styles, I still strive to incorporate items that look like his designs into my everyday wear. I find inspiration in his style and like to show appreciation for his work.
This morning was one of those mornings where I was channeling my Wang-style. And the ensemble is comprised of mostly Goodwill finds!
But the gem in this look that I’m especially excited by is this designer Wang-like angular blazer that I scored at a PA Goodwill a few weeks ago for under $5. The brand isn’t anything to take note of, but the style of this baby? SWOON! I need this in every color.
What I’m especially in love with are the modern day padded shoulders coupled with the rigid front panels. They’re both masculine, feminine, and anachronistic at the same time….which makes this blazer especially unique.
Have you scored a jacket at Goodwill that you’re particularly excited by? What are your thoughts on Alexander Wang’s designs?
